Hellyssa

Hellyssa is a typical young woman making her way in life, getting comfortable with the big city (Palm Rio) that she has lived in for only a couple of years. 

Finx

Hellyssa's roommate, Finx seems to have come from a similar place as where Hellyssa lived prior to moving to the modern world. So far, not much is known about Finx except that he talks, has a highly intelligent mind, and is lactose intolerant.

Veronica "Veejay" Jones
Veejay is Hellyssa's best friend, who cares about image and living the best life the modern world has to offer. She helps familiarize Hellyssa with society and culture she has moved into, serving as kind of compass for Hellyssa, pointing her in the "appropriate" direction to understanding and maintaining a "normal" life.
